    Every business will use their custom card in a way that supports their business. Purchasing this card is a way to show your support for the tiny cafes and shops you want to stick around.

  • Explore the City

    Each card is ONLY sold at the business location, encouraging collectors to explore their own city, visit neighborhoods they've never been to, and perhaps find their next favorite business.

  • Build a Community

    The cards can be collected, traded, and shared. This collection has appealed to folks of all ages, cultures, occupations, wealth, and gender, prompting new personal connections that never would have happened otherwise.

The Process

  • Outreach

    We reach out to local businesses by phone or email, or they reach out to us at kyle@opalseed.com.
    From here, the client shares their interest in the project, and we begin the design process immediately.

  • Design Cycles

    I send a draft for their trading card. The business owner critiques the design and advocates for changes.
    I send a revised draft. The cycle continues until the card meet's the owner's standards.

  • Print

    We print the cards on quality cardstock. They are shipped to the Opalseed HQ, where they are then checked for quality and hand-delivered to their respective shop.
    The business location is the only place where their card is sold.

  • Fast Shipping

    Cards typically take 3 weeks to arrive, once they are ordered.
    I can expedite shipping, allowing you receive them within the week.
    +$25 per order.

  • Acyrilic Stand

    I draw up a custom banner with your card front and center.
    With it, I include a 5*7 acrylic stand to help draw attention to the cards.
    Delivery included.
    +$18 per stand.

  • Marketing

    First, I print black & white versions of your card, on quality cardstock.
    Next, I personally pass them out in your shop's neighborhood, prompting new customers to visit your store.
    $50 per 100 cards.
